On the way back to Anchorage to catch my flight home, I checked out some of the magnificent Glaciers on the southern part of the Kenai peninsula. Just outside of Seward, is the Exit Glacier. It is in Kenai Fjords National Park

On the way back to Anchorage to catch my flight home, I checked out some of the magnificent Glaciers on the southern part of the Kenai peninsula. Just outside of Seward, is the Exit Glacier. It is in Kenai Fjords National Park
You can really close to Exit Glacier. The ice formations are beautiful shades of blue.
The view across the valley from Exit Glacier is spectacular too.
Portage Glacier is located near Whittier. It drains into Portage Lake.
Byron Glacier also drains into Portage Lake.
